Symptoms Of Body Rash
Body rash can be easily identified by its appearance. Some of the symptoms of body rash:
- Rough in texture or bumps
- Itching at the affected site
- Burning sensation
- Dry skin
- Skin is scaly and sheds during winter
Treatment of Diaper Rashes in Babies
Usually toddlers suffer from Diaper Rashes during summers, because the skin remains moist and wetness creates rashes in the diaper area. If their diaper remains wet for a longer time they start suffering from Diaper Rashes. The hip area and the area covered with diaper develops red rashes which are generally referred as Diaper Rashes. Whenever a baby suffers from these painful rashes it cries a lot.
Prevention of Diaper Rashes
The best way to avoid diaper rashes is not to leave wet diaper for long on your baby, keep on checking and changing the diapers regularly. The baby should be left without diaper for at least 15-20 minutes between every diaper change. This will help in drying the wet skin and the rashes will not develop.
Natural Treatment for Diaper Rashes
Do not wipe the hip area of your baby again and again with dettol or any other antiseptic dipped cotton balls. This will aggravate the rashes. Instead it is better to wash the hip area with luke warn water and then wrap a clean towel around the baby and with light hands pat the hips area dry.
Use Diaper Ointment because it is rich in zinc oxide and it makes the baby skin soft and prevents the wetness of the skin too. If the diaper rashes do not vanish after natural treatment then you should consult the paediatrician, as the baby might be suffering from yeast infection.
Prevention of Heat Rashes
In order to prevent the heat rashes dress your baby in light and soft cotton clothes all through the summers. Remember that the cotton clothes should not be very thick as they can also cause heat rashes.
Natural Treatment for Heat Rashes
Keep the baby away from moisture laden places. The room of the baby should be completely dry and free from humidity. If the heat rashes are very painful the baby will cry as soon as you touch the baby. In that case bathe the baby with cool water and then after patting dry the whole body apply prickly heat powder. If the heat rashes persist and the redness does not vanish then take the baby to the doctor after 3-4 days for treatment.
Treating Heat Rashes in Babies
Many times without any reason many tiny red rashes appear on the upper arm area of the baby and they have burning sensation too. This makes the baby very uncomfortable and they are known as Heat Rashes. These tiny rashes are just like Prickly heats and the main symptom of these rashes is that they have burning sensation and the baby sweats a lot. These rashes develop in the areas of the body of the baby where the baby sweats a lot.
