Some Vinegar Please!

Vinegar is also one of the most potent beauty potions. Mix a tablespoon of vinegar (please take normal cider and not chili vinegar) and a tablespoon of water. Dab this solution on dry feet with a cotton ball. Leave for a few minutes and wash off completely. Follow this daily for a month and you shall start receiving compliments soon!

Honey Sweet

Honey is also a great skin lightening ingredient. Mix a tablespoon of honey with juice of half a medium sized lemon. Mix well and dab on clean dry feet. Leave on for a few minutes and then wash off. Follow this on alternate days for best results.


Sun tan is one of the most important reasons why our skin becomes dark. To combat the harsh effect of the sun, always apply sunscreen before stepping out of the house. Also to remove tan, apply a paste of gramflour and turmeric mixed with milk. This mixture takes time to dry, hence leave it for around 30 minutes. Wash off with warm water and apply a good moisturizer.

If followed regularly, this can work wonders for the tan. All these remedies will surely help in whitening the skin of your feet but nothing beats regular care. Make sure you go for at-home pedicures once a week and professional pedicure once a month. Not only will it help in lightening the feet but will also prevent cracked heels, dry and dull skin.
