If you have been diagnosed with vertigo then the first thing that you should do is to make a change in the lifestyle you follow. Diet is important. So it should not only be nutritious, it will have to be well balanced. Set aside foods containing caffeine.
Do not take food which are very sweet or salty and also stay away from iced tea. Reduce stress, sleep at regular hours and do regular exercises. Water is very important for vertigo. You should sprinkle some cold water on face whenever you feel dizzy and also drink enough water. As a daily routine, take at least 8 to 10 glasses of water.
Focusing, Massage and Posture
Since imbalance is one of the causes of vertigo the brain should be trained to regain balance. Soaking amla powder and coriander in water overnight and drinking the extract with sugar can be helpful. A paste of a combination of some almonds, watermelon seeds or pumpkin seeds, wheat and poppy seeds mixed with a few fried cloves and taken with milk is said to be one of the good natural remedies for vertigo.
