A fungal infection that affects the feet, foot fungus is not so distressing compared to some of the other common ailments that affect people. However, once the infection is left untreated, which is always the case, it creates a lot of problems like yellowing of nails and finally losing the nails as a result of crumbling.

Tea Tree Oil
The anti fungal nature of tea tree oil is the best solution for helping the fungus recede without spreading to the other nails. Take a cotton ball and soak in tea tree oil. Rub on the affected area for a few minutes. This can be done 3-4 times a day. Continue this application every day. The fungus will slowly clear off, leaving your feet clear once again.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Again, using a cotton ball, apply apple cider vinegar and rub on the area for a few minutes every day. The antimicrobial properties of apple cider vinegar come to your rescue here. Apple cider vinegar can be used 3-4 times a day as well. It will also help in healing the damaged skin on the legs and facilitates new growth of cells.
The antiseptic and antibacterial qualities of turmeric are just enough to clear the foot fungus effectively from your feet. Make a smooth paste of turmeric and water and apply on the affected skin.
Let it dry and allow it to be there. Re apply a fresh coat every few hours. Slowly the fungal action will be completely removed from your legs and you will have clear and healthy nails again.
Onion is one of the most common treatment methods adopted for treating fungal infections of the skin. Slice an onion and use it for rubbing on the fungal infection. Do this every hour and allow it to air dry.
Soon the fungal action will start clearing away and your skin will clear off within a month of application. Continue for a few more weeks to bust any more fungus that could be present.
Banana and Neem
Bananas have been used for beautifying the skin from time immemorial. Mix it with the anti fungal properties of neem and you get a wonderful remedy worth trying. Mash a ripe banana and add some neem paste as well.
Mix well and apply on the affected skin. The neem will soon start exerting its claws on the fungus and soon you will be in for a surprise. Great skin and complete cure for fungus!
Henna is used as a beautifying agent on the hands and the feet. Henna has great anti fungal qualities as well. For foot fungus, apply henna paste on the affected area and leave it overnight. Make sure that you cover the area well in order to avoid staining your clothes and bed.
