5 Best Herbal Remedies For Removing Tan

skin tan

Summer time means holidays, swimming, beaches, and loads of outdoor fun. This leaves you with a tanned skin. Sun tan is the natural way your skin protects itself from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun. Your skin darkens due to the production of a brown colored pigment called melanin.

Once you get a sun burn, or sun tan, your skin takes a long time to get back to its normal color. It may not even return back to normal. Many products are available in the market that help treat sun tans, but they are full of harmful chemicals, too. It is wiser to use herbs which are easy on the skin and help in removing the skin tan within no time.

Herbs For Removing Tan

Turmeric

Turmeric is the most easily herb available at every home. It has anti-inflammatory and anti- bacterial properties which will help reduce the inflammation of the tanned skin, nourish it and remove the tan completely. Add a quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder to some unboiled milk.

Mix it well and apply to the tanned areas of your skin. Let it dry and wash off after half an hour. Your skin will return back to normal in just a few days of regular application.
