Blackheads are the pores that come with larger openings. It gets clogged with the dirt as well as dead skin. Melanin oxidation results in the black color. Blackheads are a growing problem for people of all ages nowadays. The moment one sees a blackhead on their skin, the first urge is to immediately squeeze it out.

It is true that blackheads can be quite a nuisance and make your skin look bad. However, squeezing them out is not the best way to go about blackhead removal. This is because such a method could easily scar the skin and push the infected blackhead even deeper into the skin.

Although blackhead removers are quite effective, they are not suited for use on all skin types. Sensitive skin is often damaged by their use. That is why homemade methods are often better.

Home remedies for Get Rid Of Blackhead

Steam

Steam may not literally open your pores but it can help reduce the appearance of them by softening up trapped sebum/dead skin cells that can fill out your pores and form blackheads.

Lemon juice, Honey and Yogurt

Scrubbing is a good way to get rid of blackheads. Take some salt with lemon juice, honey and yogurt and mix them. Scrub onto the affected skin, leave it for 5 minutes, wash off and gently dry. Green tea can be used too.

Lemon juice and Groundnut Oil

Another home blackhead removal tip would be mixing some lemon juice to a teaspoon of groundnut oil. If left on for ten minutes, this mix will prevent future occurrences of blackheads. Wash it off with warm water.

Almonds and Oatmeal

In the kitchen, crush some almonds and oatmeal together. Pour on some rosewater and put this on as a face mask. Wait till it dries, then rinse it off with lukewarm water. This reduces the recurring blackheads and makes them easy to remove.

Epson salt and Boil Water

Blackheads can also be prevented by regular application of solutions, which can be made at home. One such solution is made by boiling water and adding some Epson salt and few drops of iodine to it. Stir this solution well and apply it on the face gently concentrating on tender areas like the skin around the eyes and lips.

This will loosen the blackheads, which are to be carefully rubbed off with a sterilized cloth. Make sure not to aggravate the pores on the skin while rubbing the blackheads.

Lemon Juice and Water

One can also put some lemon juice and water on their face, concentrating on the sensitive areas and folds of skin. Similarly, one can also apply natural honey on the face and neck region. These methods can extract blackheads safely and also pamper the skin.

Egg White Mask

Egg whites form an easy mask that can be used to temporarily tighten pores, thus reducing chances of future blackheads, and will also remove current blackheads. Egg whites are also rich in nutrients for your skin, and are a little less drying than some other home remedies for blackheads.

Sugar and Olive Oil

If you want to apply this solution, you have to arrange 1 teaspoon of sugar as well as one teaspoon of olive oil. Mix olive oil and sugar. Rub it into the affected area. Rub this mask for 1 minutes. After that wash your face with clean water.
